Acorn Regulatory is delighted to have been shortlisted for awards at the Irish Pharma Awards 2018, The TOPRA Awards and the County Tipperary Business Awards. The company has been shortlisted for three different awards in total.
The company has been shortlisted in the ‘Pharma Supplier of the Year’ at the Irish Pharma Industry Awards. This is the first time that the company has been shortlisted or nominated for an Irish Pharma Awards category. The awards evening takes place on October 23rd at The Clayton Burlington Hotel in Dublin.
We have also been shortlisted at the annual TOPRA Regulatory Excellence Awards. This year we have been shortlisted in the ‘Support’ category. This category highlights the achievements of companies who work with pharmaceutical and medical device companies. The Awards for Regulatory Excellence cover a total of nine categories, spanning all aspects of the regulatory profession including innovation, contribution, communication and lifetime achievement. This is the fourth time that Acorn Regulatory has been nominated for a prestigious TOPRA award since the inception of the competition in 2010. The TOPRA Awards take place in London at One Moorgate Place on November 1st.
The final award that we have been shortlisted for is the ‘Best Use of Social Media’ at The County Tipperary Business Awards. Acorn Regulatory won the ‘Best SME‘ award at last year’s inaugural awards and this year we will compete against Mediskin and Cashel Blue Cheese. Speaking after the announcement, Managing Director of Acorn Regulatory Dr Gemma Robinson said that it was an honour to be shortlisted for all three of the awards. “I am delighted that the work that we do at Acorn Regulatory has been recognised and that we have been shortlisted along with these great companies. This is an interesting time at our company. We are now 16 years in existence and we are growing all of the time” she said.
